Are you telling me you type out a post and also write it down on paper, Tim?
If you are, that's a great way of keeping track, but then you need to keep track of your writings as well! lol!
That's waaay too much work for my lazy bones!
Oh, no! Not all posts, Marco. Just write down the name of a knife I’ve posted a pic of. I keep a list in “Notes” on my iPad because that’s pretty much what I use most of the time. I didn’t figure that folks would want to see me posting the same knife over and over again, and, at my age, my memory ain’t so good!

I am okay with multiple photos of the same knife. And how am I expected to remember if it has been posted before if the fellow posting it cannot remember?

That IS a really cool handle, Tim, almost looks like a plaid pattern!
I like your background choice too!
Most imaginative, buddy!

Here is a little fixed blade RR I recently bought. It is 6.25 inches overall. A handy size to keep in the tackle box for cutting bait.

- Rough Ryder 2457
And with my two favorite RRs.

- Rough Ryders
The Bird and Trout RR is really an excellent knife for scaling and gutting smaller fish, which is what I mostly bring home to eat. The black handle lockback (RR 1708) is just a really good knife in every respect. It spends quite a bit of time in my pocket.

It’s called Artisanwood, David - whatever that is.
You got some nice ones there, Mel! Love that handle on the 2457!
And thanks, Marco!

Rough Ryder denim copperhead. I liked the denim bow trapper so much I took a shot and bought the copperhead for the princely sum of $11. It’s 3 3/4” closed and sharp as a tack. Excellent w&t, dead center with nice smooth transitions and slim enough that the two blades don’t make it clunky.

That's a nice RR at a great price, Joe!
I like the deep rich blue coloring!
I hate to admit it, but that "R" on the bolster is starting to grow on me!

The “R” doesn’t bother me either, especially without a shield because it’s not as busy. Together with the bow trapper and in the same light it’s not quite as dark.

Yep, I see what you mean, Joe.
Without the shield it's much less noticeable.
I see the difference in coloring too, it's not nearly as pronounced sitting beside the other knife.
I'm not a fan of "busy" looking knives either!

I believe this knife to be the latest Rough Rider offering, and it's a big ole' knife!
Rough Rider RRR019 lockback swinguard that measures 6" folded and 11" opened and features a D2 clip-point blade that includes a coined nail-nick and large fuller, NS satin finished ribbed bolsters guard shield and pins, brass liners, black micarta covers, and lanyard hole. Made east of North America west of Australia, that's China for anyone not up on their geography!
My kindda weight at 9.6 oz.'s and came really sharp.
Nice soft walk and talk of about 4 and a perfect fit and finish.
The swinguards are staying on!
The coolest from Rough Rider so far, IMHO!

That's certainly a beast, Marco! REAL nice! Actually didn't know RR did anything like that. You got a good one!

Thanks, Tim.
I was just as surprised as you when I saw the knife online, but I liked it immediately so I pulled the trigger.
It's BIG alright, calling it a handful would be about 1/2 a hand too small, it's a handful and a 1/2! lol!

Thanks for your kind words, Theo, and your "Leg" is one sexy folder and BIG, I've never heard of a 9" leg knife.

Got this in the mail Tuesday, they call it a large stockman, 5 ins. closed...plus it doesn't have the R on the bolsters.

sunny gun is heavy. Comes with a 76 coin and a Birth of ole Glory presentation box...the last pic is it next to an old Remington Muskrat
