Don't be driving off into any deep water. There are some folks around here that think the only route between "A and B" is through the flood waters. Then, they find themselves up to the door handles in water.

This is the 3rd picnic table to come "floating" down the stream this year. From up closer to Herb's house somewhere. These are pipe framed and not light.

Just found the other two as well.

We too are experiencing major dumpage, hasn’t let up enough to check the rain gauges. After this clears out, cooler weather is supposed to come.

We got a dusting here in middle Mississippi.

Most of it is gone now.

Thanks, Mike! I'm hoping for 7" on the grass, then I can do some Cross Country skiing.

The weather people were saying that the snow would come in the afternoon. Instead, it arrived at 9:30 this morning and looks like it will continue indefinitely tho the reports are it will stop this afternoon. What I know for a fact is that the snowflakes are big and fat.

Lots of snow since the first of the year and below zero too, just got done with an hour of snow blowing, the Troy Bilt is a champ.

It continues at the three-hour mark. I realize this is nothing for some of you snow-champions but for this area it is newsworthy.

Weather report here . Inside 72 degrees and sunny . Outside 15 below . Wind chills around 25 below the next few days .

Just plain cold. Crazy that large areas far to the south of me are getting snow. Have none here in northern Iowa.

The News is going wild here.. You would think we were going to get hammered.. Guessers are guessing 1-3in.. Yep.. You read that right.. They are telling people to stay home and off the roads.. Putting a panic out there.. UNREAL!!! They have been salting the roads since early am.. Oh.. I forgot.. We have not had a flake of snow yet.. Nope.. NONE!!!
