One of the things that makes life interesting is the people you meet.
Nowhere is this more true than here at AAPK.
It has often been said that ‘knife people’ are some of the nicest people you will ever meet.
I do believe that but sometimes the things they do still blows me away.

This week I got an unexpected package at the Post Office. I didn’t pay much attention to the return address, figuring it was a knife for repair. I got home and opened the package. Inside was this box.

I opened the box and this is what I saw:

I opened the box and was greeted by this:
Camillus 100 a.jpg

The package was from Dimitri (Miller Bro’s). I was puzzled so I sent him a PM asking what was the knife for.
His reply: “I thought it would go along nicely with your Camillus 100th anniversary stuff you posted in Knife Lore I know you like Camillus knives and this one is a little to "New" to fit into my collection.”

I was flabbergasted! Absolutely stunned, to get a Camillus 100th Anniversary out of the blue!!!

Thank you so much Dimitri! ::tu:: ::ds:: ::super_happy::

You see, Dale. What goes around, comes around. Generosity begets generosity. You gave, now you get.

Congratulations Dale and kudos to Dimitri for his outstanding spirit of giving and that extremely thoughtful gift.

Now that is cool. Someone over here had one posted for sale that I meant to tell you about and forgot ::dang:: and then Dimitri sends you one. Definitely too cool.

I think it's a fairly early piece with the Waterfall Cell. handles
Oh...just kidding about the family thing. Friends and family go hand in hand. One without the other...well, you know what I mean.

Way to go Dimitri, what a nice thing to do.

Went to a flea market today where they don't allow knives. People still sell the ocassional knife, but you have to ask and the usual responce is "no, they don't allow knives here". The odd one you find for sale is often hard to look at junk...............but, I did find these two. Cook Bros. Sheffield, 2 1/2", and a Kutmaster jack that was unsharpened for $7. The Cook Bros. was $4.

A couple saturdays ago I went ot a flea market where they do allow knives and, no exageration, I looked at around fifty knives and all were broken junk. I couldn't believe it.
