I just couldn't resist this one. I mean, come on, who wouldn't love to have a postmaster with a name like Ray K. Hockaday?
I did a Google search. Ray K. Hockaday, Postmaster-Hutchinson KS, 1941-'56. Died Feb. 07, 1966.
Here's to you Ray K., your knife lives on.

Just paid for these two today - now to bug the mail carrier next week....
Boker 280 whittler with Rosewood handles. Been waiting this one out for a while.
Boker 561L - "The original bowie" blade etch. Bowie blade with stacked leather handle.

The bone I used on Gino's knife is ivory colored, with a corncob jigging pattern.

I found this Wilbert Cutlery Co Chicago Coke Bottle Jack in Cedar Rapids Iowa. I think I got lucky! God Bless!
