Nice looking knife, chickenman62.
Is that blade designed for carving? I sure like that curved tip. It looks like it would serve that purpose well
and the curved tip could lift slices to a plate.

Here is a repair I made to a Wusthof knives, santoku I recently picked up with a damaged handle. The bottom picture shows how the handle was melted away towards the end. I filled it in with a mixture of "liquid nails" and epoxy and mixed black paint with the epoxy to blend in better. It came out a little lumpy... but I can still use this great $170 knife... that I paid $0.50 for.

Here are the before pictures, with more detail, of the Wusthof knives, santoku...the handle had been placed on a hot stove and partially melted away.

The kitchen knives we actually use. Lots more but gonna toss em sooner or later!
The old wood handled boner I used when I was a kid in my grand dads butcher shop. My jobs were mostly making the burger and sausage. About 300-400 lbs burger and 100 sausage. The henckels are the most used and of those the long slicer, I use a lot for bread to roastsand hams; and chefs as well as the paring get the most regular uses. the custom chef and cleaver mostly hang for looking so far and I like that old bone handled steel which I think is really old.
