I would guess the bail for a little knife like that was probably an option.
A good way to increase sales for that pattern.
Yours is very nice.

Added another rope knife, this one is the WW1 pattern sailors knife, Levine's book has it listed Miller Bros as one of the known makers of this pattern but he had not personally seen one, I think these are one of the harder ones to find.

The look of the Miller Brothers two blade folding hunter is hard to beat, and the etch is icing on the cake.

Roger that physicians knife and the horn handled Ulster one are over whelming. You must have a time warp you are using. Those two are awesome. Congrats.

Those are amazing Rodger. Grail knives for most collectors. The horn ulster is like seeing a ghost. Just can’t believe your eyes. Thanks for sharing them.

Just finished going all thru this thread looking at all the awesome old Miller Bros, some really nice knives here. Was a little surprised that none of the old Signal Corps knives that they made, showed up in posts, here is mine showing obvious use.

Here is a dogleg jack with a name on the shield, which I assume, refers to what was once a brand of Canadian cigarettes.
