Thanks Doglegg. The CS canittlers are getting pretty hard to find and the ones with stag are even harder. I scarfed this one used on flea-bay about two years ago.

Those are very decent indeed. Just for fun I tried to pick a favorite. Hard to choose but finally settled on the Trapper. ::tu::

Exceptionally nice couple of knives Charlie. The Bowie, I have absolutely no practical use for but I love it! What an impressive knife. Of course that canoe would be the queen of some collections but just another serf in yours. Great knives. ::tu::

Thanks!

That's not a Bowie, Doglegg. It's a Rio Grande Camp Knife. It's fer when ya spend a long spell in the bush, it slices, it dices, it chops, and it can function as a short sword when necessary! :lol:

This is my big bowie. Which, by the way, is a bit shorter and lighter than the Rio Grande and has seen much more use. ::super_happy::

Charlie, my knife knowledge ignorance is showing. I'm not often in the bush so the Rio Grand camp knife would get little use from me. But it would look awfully good in my safe. And of course the Bowie, I stood and saluted when I saw it. You have very discerning taste in knives. I always look forward to you post. Thanks for the schooling. ::handshake::

Charlie those are stunners. I've had the "hots" for a Case Rio Grande camp knife for some time (I don't have much practical use for one either but that's not the point! :lol: ).

Thanks but.....you guys gotta' stop that! You'll have me thinking I can walk on water!

What are ya gonna' tell everyone when I drown? :lol:

I haven't seen anyone posting here who doesn't have a discerning taste in knives!

Thanks again! ::super_happy::

Welcome to AAPK TeeTrain. Looks like a nice knife.

Since you’re new to the forum let me help you a little if you don’t mind. AAPK is not a stickler for policies, but if you want to conduct commerce here you need to buy a premium membership. Up there toward the top right of the page is where you can find out about buying one, for as little as $20, and the benefits that come with each premium membership level.

Once you have purchased a premium membership, the place to list your knife for maximum exposure is the “Knife Commerce” section. viewforum.php?f=49 At the price you’re asking for your Bulldog, you probably need better quality pictures. Few people would shell out $400 based on a single out of focus picture. From a new member having just one post on the forum.

Hopefully this will help you sell it. Drop in at the New Member Introductions viewforum.php?f=20 and tell us a little about yourself. Stick around and enjoy the fun! ::handshake::
