This base model folder is my knife for today guys! Similar in design to the Schrade that TMK just posted, this Rite Edge lockback is 8 1/2" oal/SS clip-point blade with n/n, SS bolsters and liners, brass pins, black/white ringed Pakkawood covers, and a lanyard hole. About 4 oz.'s, and nice n' sharp. Came with a leather belt sheath. Has R/E markings. Made in China, but solid just the same! A very good EDC user! 8)WIN_20210103_12_44_17_Pro.jpg

Here's what sitting in front of me as I type; Case Twin Finn set (just finished cleaning them up earlier).
2 very comfortable, and slender, desk knives.

But alas, neither have I the dough right now, or have a friend who does.

I chose this particular knife as my knife of the day for a precise reason. I was supplied a link in a different thread to view some old Edgeco ads that they used in the 80's to sell their "kit" knives, and low and behold this knife was pictured. Now you might be wondering what's special about that. Well, I bought this one last year from a seller in Bulgaria, and although it doesn't have the Edgeco or any other markings, it's identical to the knife pictured! So, this is a short tribute to a long past model that showed up again 40 years later! The knife is 8 3/4" oal lockback/SS spear-point blade minus a n/n but with a wide pinch, brushed SS bolsters and liners, brass pins, Rosewood covers, and a lanyard hole. This is a whisp of a knife weighing but 2.4 oz.'s, is only 1/2" wide at the swell, and came very sharp. I thought that perhaps it was a used knife that the seller has had since the 80's, but it arrived in brand new condition so the likelihood that the design was copied by a modern day maker is more prominent. Cool little stiletto!

I received this knife yesterday, so it stands to reason I would choose it as today's knife! It's a clone of the AGA Zero model, but displays no AGA or any other markings, is 1/4" shorter than the original at 8 1/2" oal, and has a SS dagger blade with fullers, SS bolsters liners and lever, black textured G-10 covers, no safety or pocket-clip, and lever-open/lever-close action. Similar weight to the AGA model at about 8 oz.'s, and came with only the bottom edge sharpened, so much so that I immediately cut myself. The knife actually arrived broken, as the blade was jammed closed, and upon attempting to release it, a small piece under the lever snapped off, although, I was able to repair it, and it operates just fine now. Only 1/4 of the price of the original, but the over-all quality just isn't the same. Great knife for "click therapy" though! I also received a very cool keychain stiletto, that will fit in nicely with my other mini knives! I included a pic of the original AGA for comparison purposes!

That's a cool one, Marco! Love that Bowie style Pommel. Here's my modded Browning Model 30, comfort knife of the day. Smooth on the hands, easy on the eyes..

I got this knife in today from Mark at SSk along with a set of 2 folders, so it's my knife of the day! It's an 8" oal Tommy Lee designed boot dagger/AUS-8 steel dual-edged tapered dagger blade, NS satin-finish tapered bolsters and pins, and very nice black micarta scales. Very thin and weighing only 3.1 oz.'s, with both edges unbelievably sharp. Made in Seki, Japan and wearing Paragon markings. An absolute pleasure to handle and use! A now favorite of mine!
