Nice, John! ::tu::

Posting this from my Bachelor's party back in August, seems fitting for St. Paddy's Day (that was a Guinness). ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ช๐Ÿ€๐Ÿป

I don't think anyone makes a gluten-free N/A beer.
I have tasted a few gluten-free beers but never found one I thought was worth drinking, let alone paying the premium price that gluten-free products seem to demand!

Just my opinion. ::shrug::
Yup Dale, you were right.

Picked up a 4-pack of Claust today; and man my boy, tis some good stuff!

Busch's is good, but Claust is better. If you like a good 'n strong brew, Busch is the way to go. But if smoothness is more your cup of tea, then Claust is it.
I'll have to snag some O'Doul next time, and compare the 3.

Brewed in Nashville, pretty good stuff with some ribeyes. The grandson came over and helped me with them.

Tell us more about this bourbon, Scott.
Named for the year in which Kentucky became a state, it is a rye bourbon. They have also offered a wheated bourbon, a Port finish, and a single barrel.
That is a nice photo, Scott.

The five rules of Bourbon:

1. It must be made in the United States. Contrary to popular belief, it doesnโ€™t have to be made in Kentucky, although 95 percent of the worldโ€™s supply is.

2. Aging must take place in a new, charred, oak barrel. Makerโ€™s Mark gets its from ISC (Independent Stave Company) in Kentucky. Whiskey can be aged in used barrels and often is. The bourbon must be aged for at least two years to be considered a straight bourbon.

3. The mash must be at least 51 percent corn. Makerโ€™s Mark is way above the minimum at 70 percent.

4. The whiskey cannot enter the barrel at higher than 125 proof. It cannot enter the bottle at a proof less than 80.

5. Nothing can be added but water and only to lessen the proof when necessary. Other whiskeys can add color and flavor. Not bourbon, it must be au naturel.

A few years ago, a documentary was made, titled "Bourbontucky". It gives some great history and insight into the craft of distilling. They show it a couple of times per year, watch for it and watch it, those that have an interest.
