Wish you could! Average here 40 inches for the winter, currently have had less than 20”. Was near drought at the beginning of winter too. This is prime farm country where land has been selling for $10,000+ an acre. Some farmers are going to be in a world of hurt.

Friday its supposed to start in the 60s.. Then drop all day.. By night snow 1-3in and another 1-3in on Saturday!!! Then back into the 60s next week.. I was hoping we were done with this Crap...

A half inch of dust on crust here. And to think I brought my XC skis up for this. John, you could get some skiing in there.

Had a spring thunderstorm come through last night - twice. First one came from southwest to northeast about an hour before dark, with some wind, lightning, dime-size hail, and heavy rain. The whole thing only lasted about 30 minutes. Then about 12:30 AM this morning it came back northeast to southwest - more lightning, wind and rain but no hail this time.

This morning I heard on the radio there was a tornado a few miles northeast of here. Not sure if it happened on the way through, or on the way back. Not sure if it was actually the same storm, or another one? Either way we dodged a bullet.

We have been getting pounded here in North Texas by thunderstorms, high winds and tornadoes. One tornado just missed my son's house over in Wise County north of Decatur. We could see a very dark wall cloud down the street from us that was reported to have rotation in it and the city sirens were activated so everyone took shelter in the master bath. It's 7:42 PM right now and all seems to be still outside, but I believe there are more storms that will be developing later tonight according to the local weather guesser. I heard that the small town of Bowie may have taken a direct hit from a tornado. They said a school was hit. Won't know the full story until sometime tomorrow, so goodnight everyone and God Bless.

Crazy but peaceful weather here In Hawkeye land. Yesterday was 67 today 37. Rain, wind, now snow. Typical March weather.

We had that same front that went thru Texas move thru Mississippi yesterday. One of our employees had a tornado come thru his neighborhood and damaged several houses. His road was also flooded.
A mobile home was destroyed in an area just north of us. The couple had just bought this home a couple of months ago. It was totally destroyed. They escaped unharmed. Some areas were hit hard and some just got a lot of rain.
That was a nasty weather event. Thanks be to the Lord, He kept us safe.

Cold weather coming back here on Sunday. Don't put your plants out just yet.

Soo.. I think for the first time this Winter the "Guessers" were wrong.. We got none of that crap here.. Just a quick rain early this am.. I am HAPPY...

April fools day 2022 bruoght as a couple inches of snow.

Looks pretty but I don't like the cold. Should be a bit warmer tomarrow.

Anyways, a few pictures I took when I went out to clean & salt the street.

So far today we have had.. Sun, Rain, Sleet, Hail, Snow.. And sometimes a few of those at the same time... WOW!!! Crazy weather!!! And the temps stayed at 37-40deg all day..
