Hazy, hot and humid. We went straight from April to August.

Storms here lining up one after the other. 4AM this morning I hear what sounds like a rifle shot that wakes me up. 1 and 1/2 " hail hitting a skylight in the bathroom a few feet from my head. Couple of inches of rain from that one. Another storm going on now, rotation seen in the clouds in the area. The storms themselves are moving over 65 MPH, so at least they don't last long. Lots of tree damage and power outages. This will continue for a few more hours.

Rained here starting about 2 AM, so far we’ve had 2 inches. Still raining off and on as more showers come through. We’re several inches behind on rainfall this year so we need it, but of course it has its problems too. Wheat is ready to be cut. Harvest started last weekend but as of now barely a dent has been made. Thousands of acres still standing in the fields waiting to be cut. Now it will be too wet to get equipment into the fields for a few days.

Forecast is for more rain over the next couple of days. Reminds me of about 10 years ago we got a combine stuck in the mud and had to wait several days to get it out.

Today was actually sunny and a very pleasant 80 degree day with low humidity.

Awesome weekend here, pool days fool daze.

Low 80s, humid and breezy with periods of clouds. We have a miserable week of days above 90 coming up, not ready for summer. The amber waves of grain should give way to the combine this week.

Hot! Mid 90s, humid. Sure glad the cab of my tractor has AC. I was nice and cool until I stopped and walked to the house for supper - by the time I got there I was sweating.

Started out with what seemed to be an all day rain here, stopped by Noon and then we had a party sunny afternoon/evening. Hoping it's nice tomorrow.

Have had light showers in the overnight the past two days and 76-80 for day time highs. Looking at a heat up into the 90’s for a few days and I’m sure the humidity will be right up there too.

Yesterday driving home vs. today.

Going to be beautiful, lower 70's and low Humidity! In Northeast WI.

Another derecho here yesterday. 84 mph wind, some rain and small hail. No damage for us, but lots of tree damage in the area as well as people out of power.

Caught some of that here in NW Iowa, no damage for me. Just a quick inch of rain.

Pushing 80° at sunrise, you know it's going to be a scorcher. Pleasantly mild morning here, yesterday was gorgeous with low humidity.

109 today which means if the trend holds true it will be about 110 to 112 at my house.
We need some relief and at this point I'll even take a thunderstorm or two.

90's° here all week, 'til Tuesday next week. Pool party on Saturday, luckily the storm isn't supposed to hit until 3:00.
