All About Pocket Knives

Another of my old Syracuse Knife Co. pieces. Camillus made from the 1930's. Pretty clean for 90 years give or take.

Going by my findings from my research regarding this pocket knife,
it is either a Miller Brothers Cutlery Company pocket knife, a Meriden
Britannia Company pocket knife, or a made by ? pocket knife.
I’m leaning towards it being a Miller Brothers pocket knife.

Recently, this fob or key ring, pattern or style of pocket knife, arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. I did NOT purchase the group or lot of pocket knives just to obtain this particular pocket knife. But, it did turn out to be a keeper. It did get added to my general, pocket knife accumulation. It is a M.B.C., one blade, one tang stamp, one bail stamp, 1 5/8” closed (not including the bail), fob or key ring, pattern or style of pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "M.B.C. (over) U.S.A." The bail stamp says, “A & Z” The main blade does NOT have a half stop. The main blade does NOT have an opening snap. The main blade does NOT have a closing snap. This pocket knife is in GOOD condition. This pocket knife did NOT need cleaning. I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

Recently, this gentlemens' or lobster, fob or key ring, pattern or style of pocket knife, arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I bought. It now becomes my most recent example to be posted under this topic or thread. I did NOT buy the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. However, it did turn out to be a keeper. It did get added to my general, pocket knife accumulation. It is a SHEFFIELD STEEL, one blade, one tool (a file), one tang stamp, one bail stamp, 2 1/4" closed (not including the bail), all metal, gentlemens' or lobster, fob or key ring, pattern or style of pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "SHEFFIELD (over) STEEL" The bail says,"ODMAN BROS" The main handle side has designs and is monogrammed. The other handle side has some minor designs. This is my second, SHEFFIELD STEEL pocket knife. The main blade does NOT have a half stop. The main blade does NOT have an opening snap. The main blade does NOT have a closing snap. The tool opens and closes, with no issues. This pocket knife is in FAIR condition. This pocket knife did NOT require any cleaning.
I just wiped it off. I took some pictures and here it is.

ONLY using GOINS', I could NOT find any information regarding this pocket knife or tang stamp.
There is a "SHEFFIELD CUTLERY CO.", a "SHEFFIELD ENGLAND STAINLESS", a "SHEFFIELD FINE CUTLERY CO. INC.",
a "SHEFFIELD KNIFE CO. CUTLERS TO HER MAJESTY", a "SHEFFIELD STEEL ENGLAND", a "SHEFFIELD STEEL MADE IN USA", a "SHEFFIELD STEEL-GROUND IN GERMANY" and a "SHEFFIELD MFG. CORP." listed. There is NOT a "SHEFFIELD STEEL" listed.
***** It is possible that there is a COLONIAL connection to the SHEFFIELD STEEL brand. *****
