New_Windsor_NY wrote: Wed Jul 01, 2020 12:31 am Ok. This is as far as I dare go with this pocket knife and still maintain. Here's the deal. I would like one of the AAPK artisans to put handles on this pocket knife. It's a CAMILLUS, 4 line tang stamp, single blade, 2 tool, "Sunshine Biscuits" pocket knife. Obviously I'll pay for shipping both ways, for any materials and of course, for your time and effort. I'd like to reuse as much of this knife as possible. Handle material can be discussed. If you are interested, PLEASE PM me and ONLY if you're in the lower 48 states. Thank you, Skip.
A couple of the "before" pictures are two posts above this one.
It is looking better allready. i would do it with mother of pearl like i rehandled this one.
just a suggestion. i am in australia so i cant do it.

Don't worry Mike. I went as far as I dared to go (last post, previous page) with this knife. I maintained, no tantrums were thrown, cursing was at a minimum and the knife stayed dry. ::tu::

Thank you Richard. ::tu:: I was thinking clear handles, with the shield "under" the handle. I love the way the handles look now. ::shrug::

I received this today. A CAMILLUS, 4 line, single blade, two tools, "Sunshine Biscuits" pocket knife. It needed very little cleaning. Unlike the one I received at the end of June, this one is in good condition. I still need scales put on the other one. If someone wants to make a few bucks, PM me. I took some pictures and here it is. I also included links to pictures of the other knife's "before" and "current" condition.

The "before" pictures of the other "Sunshine Biscuits" knife.

But yes, with butter, honey and my daily dose of caffeine.

I guess I was going by the "sword brand" name to come up with the '41 - '46 time period.
Here is the only other pic I have.... still can't see if there is anything under the 3rd line.....

I added these two to my Camillus Collection last week.

The first one is a Camillus No.9 Grandaddy Barlow, 5 inches closed. It has the Long Line Camillus Tang Stamp (1960-76). Has great snap. I did have to clean it up, and as you can tell it did have some rust. But after a good warm mineral oil soak & cleaning, it has a new life now. I will be adding it to my EDC rotation.

The second one is a Camillus No.16 Equal End Jack. It also has the Long line Camillus Tang Stamp. Both blades have good snap with the secondary blade being a little weaker than the main blade. It didn't need much cleaning and just mainly oiling the blades. I have a fondness for equal end jacks, as well as swell end jacks.
