Just had a good friend and neighbor diagnosed with cancer. My wife is good friends with her and has been helping her get to appointments, etc. Thought I would try to carve something for her. Googled up and went with a Doug Linker video, on Youtube, about how to carve a gnome. Mine didn't come out too much like his (ha!). It was a lot of fun. I'll give it to her today and tell her it's a "Good Health Gnome...but; mostly, a "Good Friends Gnome."

Whittled out of a wedge shaped piece of scrap wood I saved. Cool dude! Probably make a refrigerator magnet out of it.
