Whats your newest addition to your Buck family and why?

Hoyt Buck produced the first Buck Knife in 1902. Hoyt and his son Al moved to San Diego and set up shop as H.H. Buck & Son in 1947. Al Buck revolutionized the knife industry in 1964 with the infamous Model 110 Folding Hunter. The company's innovative history and attention to quality have made for many great collectible knives.

Great NBA (New Buck Acquisition) group, Rick. ::tu:: It's hard to come by those 112's with the drop point. They hold their value.

Gorgeous knife, Smitty! She’s a beauty! I like the 700 series and have several myself. The 704 is possibly my favorite among them.

Single blade. Pinchable. And slim in the pocket.

Great score!

Saw this "BUCK-LITE" 422 a week ago and went back today and bought it for $8.00. Not my normal "collectible" but it looks like a good carry. Appears to have one dot after the 422. I'll look that up.
Little "used " shop in Selbyville, DE. Still a few nice deals around.

J.O., if I recall correctly, Buck would put a dot on the right side of the model # if they made a 'change' to that particular knife. That single dot doesn't have anything to do with a date. But then, I could be wrong on that.

Also: All the early Bucklite models got that dot stamping, 422, 424 and 426. As well as the 412 Scoutlite. It could be a steel indicator for 425 steel. ::shrug::

Thanks KLJ; I dug back in this thread and found someone said that happened in '84-'85, just before the '86 and onward series. Appreciate the info..
