New weather station I got yestiddy. The ole wasn't reading right.

Been trying to get some work done in the shop - but the old A/Cs are struggling mightily in this heat. I set the A/Cs to come on at around 8 every morning. It's tolerable until about 3:00, then it is hitting about 90 / 91 inside the shop. I just go back to the house for a couple of hours until it starts to cool down in the evening. My lawn is crunchy..... looks like the surface of Mars.

Hotter than a $2 pistol.

Tornado warning west of us. We are watching to see which path it takes. We are expecting severe storms tonight with a lot of rain. ____Dave

Thanks John. It missed us to the south but looks like JP (Ripster) got nailed with the bottom of the storm. We just got a shower out of the deal and today is supposed to be nice.____Dave

No snow across southern Minnesota and northern Iowa. Those to the south and east can thank me for the snow you got (or not). Just kinda cold.

Currently 21°, partly cloudy, north wind 8 mph (wind chill 16° ). Forecast is for 3 to 12 inches of snow accumulation starting Thursday, 90% chance of snow. Hoping it doesn’t turn into an ice storm instead. We typically get a major snow event every 5 to 7 years, so we’re due.

Looks like we are in for a major (for here anyway) snow event. Started snowing about two hours ago, big flakes coming steadily. Grass in the lawn is already covered. 30° and dropping slowly, supposed to be 27°overnight low, with accumulation 6 to 8 inches. Big Dog seems to be liking it but me, not so much!

COLD!! Colder than a witches tit in a brass brassier. Currently -5°F

Cold here too. Currently 20° with a 12 mph wind - “feels like“ 8°. Forecast high today is 29°. Tired of chopping ice so cattle can get a drink.

Don't think I ever experienced quite that much snow in a season, but I was living in Michigan during the blizzard of 1978. We had 34 inches over a 36 hour period.

Yesterday never got above 0, low this am was -16. And still no snow. Crazy!

Alright Folks, we finally get to play here in the Florida Panhandle!
Look here at Miss Joy's Ford Flex after 1.5 hours of snow falling. Supposed to do this maybe through midnight.
