Dang Cooter, that is just one goergious knife! I love how some of the real old bone handle knives age with that "morel (sponge) mushroom" type of look. Having been a mushroom hunter for years, that aged spongy bone "look" is something I really look for when knife hunting. Thenks for showing Cooter...great find!

I found this PAL jack knife at the show, excellent walk and talk, strong springs, halfstops, perfectly centered blades with no play, does not look like it's been sharpened or even cleaned, believe it or not. Nice bone. I have no idea how a working knife like this can be this old and in this condition, but I'm glad I found it. A very nice old American knife. Goes with the PAL I have that my father was issued on New Guinea in WWII. By a long shot the nicest old pocket knife I have.

Here's one you don't see often CRESENT CUTLERY CO. this one is related to Northfield Knife Co. of Conn. I researched it for the book I wrote on Northfield. 1901 to 1915, I love the old jigging and iron bolsters/swing guard. It appears to have German influence to me. What do you think of this old girl. yes the blade is short, but I paid to much for it, but loved the antique style and design.

That is a georgious and very unique knife! Looks like that bolster is really heavy duty and those handles....well they speak for themselves....just incredible.....

Real Beauty. I love the swing guard (one of my favorite features on any brand) among other things.

Winchester 2362, etched blade and salesman inked numbers on the back. Been in a leather pouch for the last 75 years.

Here is an extremely rare Case And Son, Little Valley, New York. Stamping used only a couple years before moving to Bradford Pa.

I posted this one for opinions awhile ago and did not receive alot of input. CASE TESTED PB91050, best I can tell. Maybe adding to this thread will yeild some input. Any one know anything about this one? If not, think it applies to the "Old and Rare" theme as I have not seen any other posts on this one. If not old and cool nonetheless.

This is a knife that has been in my wife's family for a few generations.It is a Kaleski's Settler made by T Turner & Co England in 1909.

It's about 5" closed and has better snap than my Schrade knives.You keep your finger clear when closing it.
