I am glad you are happy with it, TJ. I know the knife blades were a little chewed up. The last owner must have hated the knife, it looks like he took a grinder to it. Here's what it looked like before I started...



I wish I had a little better of a knife to start with. I cleaned the blades up the best I could without removing too much metal.

As far as the rest of the poop, well, don't worry, I have enough for the next roundtable...

Well I finally received Dave O's package by pack mule today. From the outside, it looked harmless...



I carefully opened it, hoping I was not going to have to institute any HazMat procedures. This was the first peek inside, looks interesting.



After reading Dave's heartwarming letter to me about wanting send me the best POS knives he could, I viewed the ready to open booty...



Here are what I assume Dave considers the POS knives..



I don't know, they don't look that bad to me. However that knife at the top literally broke my thumbnail off. It's not my new friend.

I think this is the gem of the lot...



Dave also threw in this cool slingshot. Wasn't there someone on this forum that was making them?



This looks like fun. I'll have to get out and do some plinking.

Alright! I got my pos package in today from Iron Hoarder....ironic that I received a package from the UK, with a China made knife "celebrating" it's pride in America! Hrmph! Wobbly Chinese lockback in it's own presentation box, very well qualified in the pos segment, I must say.
Now on the other hand...keeping in touch with the British orgins of the package, the "20.00" knife is a real nice one, from a maker that is new to me. A Wright & Sons, Sheffield England...blue jigged bone single blade "Real Lamb Foot"...snaps like a gator and is solid as can be, very nice, thanks much Robert! Very much appreciated.

Hey Mike. I've looked at those English made "Real Lambs Foot" knives and considered buying one 'cause I like 'em. Haven't pulled the trigger so far but maybe one of these days...

Just so happens I received my package from Chet today. Pictures tomorrow but in the mean time, the POS (I guess) is a China made Kershaw DWO without the Kershaw on the handle or anyplace else on the knife. But you can tell it's an exact match for a DWO. Drop of oil on the blade and it's slick as a cat's aspirator.

The other two are a Camillus #69 Deluxe Premium Stock Knife with milled nickel silver liners and some pocket time. The other is a Pal Blade Co. EZ-Open jack with a bail, half stops and what I think might be Rogers bone handles. A chip out of the handle on each side at the rocker pin but who gives a flying fig, it's a keeper. I like 'em. A lot.

Glad you like'em Mike. That Chinese knife seriously irritated me. Cretins trying to capitalize on American values with cheap crap.

I finally got a chance to takes pictures of what was in the whiffer that landed on my doorstep. One Neverdull Cutlery two blade jack knife and the remains of a Camillus scout knife with the four line stamp. Thanks Sharalds.

Ended up helping some friends move yesterday so I didn't get pictures taken until this morning.

Top -- I guess this is supposed to be the POS of the bunch. China made knife that's exactly like a Kershaw 3000 DWO. I've been tempted to buy a DWO in spite of their being made in China, 'cause they make one in orange. This one has not been abused and is in good carried condition. (much better condition than the lockback I sent Chet )

Middle -- Pal Blade Co. EZ-Open jack with a bail. The blades have half-stops and the snap is pretty good. The pen blade has seen more use than the main blade. The handles are what looks to me like beautiful, pocket worn, Rogers bone with only two small chips, one on each side. It's a keeper for sure.

Bottom -- Camillus #69 Deluxe Premium Stock Knife with milled nickel silver liners. Tang stamp is '60-'76 long line. The Delrin they used when this knife was made, takes on a beautiful patina when pocket worn that sometimes makes it difficult to tell from bone. The blades are all full and snap with authority. Another keeper.

jerry, i had a tough time deciding how to do this roundhouse. i have too much junk and i didn't really want to send you any real junk. i also didn't know whether to go with new rough riders as pos and a new folder as the better one. but after much deliberation i decided on going the vintage route. a maker of your liking and a pattern of mine. and that china pos is something i did use for a while.
i am glad you like em. like i said earlier, i sent you my favorite number

I'm very happy with what I received, Chet. Now I just have to decide where to place them in the folders I use to store my accumulation. Once again, thank you very much.

Whew, my POS finally arrived from Jody744. The post office seemed to have sent my package out for delivery in the wrong location, then was sent to my local post office. From there it went back out to a different post office, then came back again. I guess they got it all sorted out as I have it now.

Post office must have known that it was a POS and just kept trying to get rid of it, so I was expecting some bad stuff when it arrived. Upon opening, I see 2 Case knives. One small 059L, the POS which is a good user. The other is a nice sod buster Jr., funny that I was actually looking into getting myself a sodbuster. Now this one is better, because it has a small story behind it.

I received my box from Conservativeknives some time ago but as my phone won't let me post pics and my daughter's laptop was having issues, I now get to post my latest. A genuine made in India whatcamacallit and a great Victorinox. That red handled knife has seen quite a bit of pocket time. I have never owned one and I must say that it is perhaps the sharpest knives out of the box I have ever owned and is not shy at all about cutting.

OK, so I FINALLY got my package from Keithlong

Got my first Boker, my first stockman as well. Anyone know how old this is? Sharpened it up, and the steel was surprisingly very soft. Really cool and a great EDC size.

The Chinaman is a bon-e-fide POS. I have never seen such an ugly POS in my life. I brought it in the back yard and shot it a couple times, which was actually quite fun

This pen is absolutely awesome. Handmade from deer antler! I will definitely be carrying it for a while. It is 1/2 the weight of my Titanium pen, so it is much easier to carry, especially with the deep carry clip!
