Weather report___ rain started about 4:00am---snowing since 6:30am----3 ta' 5in. expected to accumulate today,with a high of 35____then the icey / mix, is suppose to take over tonight,and through tommorrow,with a high of 29* predicted !!!!_________tommorow and Thursday,will be ""exciting"" around the state of South Carolina !!!!___________ probably a lot of power outages, and no one knows how to operate a motor vehicle ""safely"" in this knid of weather ---- I will be staying inside_____ or __ on the back deck again,taking pictures !!!!

We've got between 3" & 4" right now and it's still snowing to beat the band - came about 8 hours early - got to drive home from Fayetteville in it (some folks on I-95 don't slow up for anything - passed me like the were driving rockets!) OH

Ps We ended up right at 4", however it didn't stick to the roads or concrete - I'll take that. Got an 1" of sleet and freezing rain coming later this morning - hope we fair as well once that has passed.

Snows not bad but freezing rain and ice just absolutely sucks. Supposed to get quite a bit of it over night and all day tomorrow. Their already worrying about massive power outages tomorrow.

Then it is supposed to be around 60 on Sunday

Typical jawja winter weather.

It's 5pm here in Australia and it 46.1c (115f )last night it cooled to 80f.Any grass I have left crunches under foot.
I would hate the snow but love the water when it melts.

Wow sounds hot and dry--rite now in Michigan 5:30 AM 1*F

Heavy Snow and 28* here in the ""sunny south"" at 7:00am____high today,30* with more snow,followed by a ""wintery mix"" of ice/sleet and winds gusting to 25/30 mph.__couple of days,before it breaks***___BURRRRRR!!!!!!!________next weeks forecast is for mid 60's,all week ???

We've been through what you guys south of me are getting now. It ain't one bit of fun. Last time we got a serious dose of freezing rain, my power was out for eight days. NO heat, NO running water, NO lights. Thank goodness I had nearby relatives who didn't lose their power and were kind enough to take us in.

I'll be sending up prayers for all my southern buddies. This is serious business.

Thanks Phil***____ you are so right about this being serious business** Folks around here are staying ""inside"" for the most part ___ some have to get out,but most places have closed for the day**____ no need to take chances,you don't have too !!! ___ but there is always that minority of ""dummies"" that just have to get out in it !!!!!

It's snowing like crazy outside again - glad it's not the ice we were warned about. It is hard to get a picture that shows the snow coming down, but the tiny little flecks in this picture is snow - strange, cause it's snowing like crazy but you can barely see it in a picture. OH

Just hope the temp stay down till it passes you if it turns to rain is when the power outages will happen--make a pot of soup and a slab of corn bread perfect day for that

Oh yeah, PigSticker.

I just started chili simmering on the stove for dinner and gonna make some cornbread to go along with it.

As long as we keep power I don't care how nasty it gets outside. I don't have anywhere to be and most everything is closed today anyway. It should all be gone in a few days.

And somehow all this white stuff has missed us again this year. 2013 and 2014 we have had less snow than ever in the last 5 years. Thank you Lord!

Well at least it warmed up to *23 and just what Yep, you guessed it, its snowing again! ::hurl::

Man, we got lucky - sleet turned to rain last night and the temperature rose during the night - the roads in my neighborhood are clear and wet this morning - rain melted the ice. OH

We got a couple of inches of snow last night, over the three inches of sleet/freezing rain that fell yesterday. It's still snowing

Feels like it's gonna warm up in Michigan today says it's 7* but feels warmer than that-snow looks like it was thawing yesterday--road work guys were out yesterday digging out the street drains on the curbs if we do get a quick thaw gonna be a lot of water with no place to go--hope all you southern people got power the news media made it sound like it was gonna be bad but ya gotta take those people with grain of salt

200K plus people without power in Ga. The EMC's are getting it fixed pretty fast. We kept power the entire time but it's not completely over yet

I bet the snow has put the bass off the bite.
Besides, it is hard to fish from an ice covered boat!
