New Moki to add to the collection. Moki 901 stag. Hadn’t seen this model before. I like it very much. Here is also a picture of my Moki’s with thumb studs.

All beautiful knives, Mark, and it just hit me, your newest Moki model looks much like the old AG Russell desk daggers that came in white bone, stag, and faux MOP or it might have been abalone, but are now discontinued. Fine display, buddy.

Thanks Mark, I forgot to check this thread for a few days.

I picked up the bigger brother to this Moki stag knife 901. This one is the 900 model and it is bigger as you can see in the last photo. This one has what looks like white resin scales. Not certain what it’s made of but it doesn’t look like Micarta of any kind. It has the usual tight fit and finish of Moki. All stainless steel construction and very solid feel in hand.

That model is looking much like the AGR model "Desk" dagger I was trying to describe to you earlier, Mark, so much so that I'm starting to think the knife I mean isn't made by AGR but rather by Moki after-all.
The knife I meant has a specific name, it's not "Desk" dagger, that is quite catchy, but not catchy enough foe me to remember it. I'm almost certain you have all 3 in your collection of AGR's and have posted them here previously. Oh well, perhaps it will surface now that we talked about it behind it's back.
Your Moki collection just keeps getting better and better, congratulations, buddy.

Had to look that one up because I also had the name on the tip of my tongue but I couldn’t remember it either.

Agent’s Office Knife.

Thanks Mark. It is similar to the Agents Office Knife. However, that Agents knife is made in China so Moki would not have had a hand in its design or build. I haven’t seen an Agents Office Knife made in Japan so I think those were made for A.G.R after he moved his production to China from Japan. I have one of those Agents knives in my collection and it does feel very similar in hand to these 900 and 901 patterns.

Thank you, Mark, what you say is a perfect example of your long-time expert-eye, and my novice observation.
So many knives to learn from, so much knowledge to acquire and remember, but so little time to do it in. ::shrug::

You've been posting some beautiful Mokis Mark! ::tu:: Here is the larger Moki 433 Kronos I picked up recently to go with my smaller 533, and an AG Russell Trick Lock Stag Folding Hunter I was fortunate enough to get for a great price. Love all these knives and the big Stag Folding Hunter was even nicer than expected . ::ds::

Thanks Mark! I've seen you post all these knives at some point. I traded for the large Moki at a show, so I knew what I was getting, but was pleasantly surprised at the size and quality of the AG Russel Stag. Took me minute to figure out how to close the main blade though. ::hmm:: ::facepalm::

Just got the SSk Limited Special Edition 533 Kronos from Ivoryman. Thanks again, my friend! ::handshake:: It is a truly spectacular knife that I think pairs quite nicely with its 433 ACSB big brother ::nod::

You're welcome and then some. What a nice pair, beautiful bone on both of those. Surprised how red it looks, thought it was much more brown when I saw it. Great bone. ::tu:: ::tu::

Forgot to post this new Spire made by Moki for A.G. Russell. Matt Conable designed these for William Henry and it was licensed to A.G. Russell for these. I think I have one more to complete the set for the A.G. Russell made versions.

That's a beautiful set of Moki's, Mark, I thought I had seen the model with the MOP covers in your store, and it's confirmed with this model today, just different covers. Very nice showing, buddy!

Thanks Mark. Not sure if I have had that one or not. Since I don’t have one in my collection, I doubt that I offered one for sale. I usually only sell any doubles or triples that I have when it comes to knives that I collect. Either way, the hunt goes on.

Is # 107191 in your store not the same knife as in your above picture of 4? If not, my apologies, ::handshake:: guess my ole' eyes are worse than I thought. ::facepalm::

That is a completely different knife from the Spire. It’s a Loveless Semi-Skinner design. Made by Moki under specs from Loveless and A.G. Russell. It’s a less expensive version of one that Bob Loveless made and sold himself, less expensive compared to an actual Loveless made knife.
