I think 99% CRKT knives come from China.
I have owned several and I've never seen one that was made in the USA

If I can remember correctly, when I was looking @ the CKRT's on my trip to Cabela's back in November; I thought the C.O.O. was Tawain?...

I bought one of those after I saw yours and have opened and closed it many times, it is a very satisfying knife to have in hand. The quality of it is amazing. Very nice.

I specifically had you in mind when I posted about the new models with a flipper and no thumb-stud, because I remembered you saying you were having trouble with the small stud and big hands, and I knew you liked the knife overall, so I just wanted to make you aware that they are available.

Thanks Willy! ken98k was just telling me pretty much the same thing, that most CRKT's come from the that part of the world, and Cabella's is a stand-up store, so I doubt they'd have incorrect information. Nice to know it's not copied or counterfeited!

Here's another knife that hasn't been getting the attention it deserves, so it's gonna provide me with some comfort while I play with it today! Only true knifers could describe their knife as something to "play" with! Very interesting hobby we participate in, don't ya think? This is a Kershaw Kai 2420 linerlock that measures 8" oal/SS drop-point blade with stud, I believe aluminum covers with black rubber cross-cut inserts, adjustable pivot, and pocket-clip. Approximate weight of 3 1/2 oz.'s, and freshly sharpened by my friend Mark at Sharpnshinyknives before he sent it to me. Bears Kershaw markings, and made in Japan. I stated yesterday that I haven't seen many knives where the blade more-or-less disappears into the handle when closed, in reference to my CRKT 7096 CEO, but this is one of those knives too. I very much like the streamlined, rounded edge profile of this knife, and it feels so light that one would barely be aware it was in their pocket. Almost what I'd call my perfect knife!

I have this Italian made slip-joint with me today, and this is an inexpensive, well built folder! Measuring 8 3/8" oal/SS spear-point blade with n/n, SS bolsters liners pins and bail, and white ABS covers. A respectable weight of 2.5 oz.'s, and extremely sharp. It's marked with an M. Fraracco and logo stamp on the tang and bolsters. Silky-smooth walk, and you'd better not have any digits in the way when this one talks! I ordered 5 more of these knives in the same order, in varying lengths and materials, and for a $17. knife I have no complaints! Great for EDC, although, for me it's strictly a stay at home comfort knife!

You can find them on ebay, either .ca or .com it doesn't matter, and the seller is "ilcasaledelsole2016"(no quotation marks), or, search 324204681627 and the number will take you to a vendetta knife they are offering, and you can access and save the seller and products from there. They build some really beautiful knives including, vendettas, shell-pullers, stilettos, etc., and most are VERY reasonably priced. When I placed my order for 6 knives, I was charged shipping(only $8.)for each knife, and the day after I placed the order the seller refunded 5 of the shipping's, so it was only $8. for all of them. I didn't know how to do the "Request a Total" thing you see at checkout, and they supplied my refund without me asking. Very solid, honest seller! Check em' out, you're gonna like em'!

It's a Ganzo/Firebird F7362 BO/BC auto that's 7 3/4" oal/SS drop-point blade, SS bolsters liners and screws, adjustable pivot, black G-10 covers, lanyard hole, and pocket-clip. Weighs-in at just over 3 oz.'s, and came very sharp. Has all the G/F markings. These are fun to play with knives, and they're quite inexpensive!

I received this knife as a gift and haven't paid much attention to it, so it's today's knife! It's a completely unmarked 8 1/2" oal all-metal framelock A/O folder/SS 4mm drop-point blade with flipper 10% jimping and swedge on both sides, what I believe is a titanium frame, and pocket-clip. Weighing-in at about 3 oz.'s, and incredibly sharp. The framelock works exactly the same as a linerlock, but the frame locks the blade open instead of a liner, which this knife doesn't have. Very solid and well built knife!

No Garry, it came totally unmarked. It came from DHGate.com in China as a gift for being a good customer. It was disassembled because it has the "flipper", and the seller knew it would be seized by Customs if it arrived assembled, but only because I told him so. Very simple assembly, just put the 2 frame pieces together, put in the bottom spacer before tightening, put the blade and pivot screw in, tighten it up, and ready to go! It's such a simple knife, but sturdy as the day is long!

I'm go'in with this Tac-Force A/O linerlock stiletto today! This one measures 9" oal/SS flat-grind blade, SS bolsters and liners, screws instead of pins, adjustable pivot, and white pearlex covers. Approximate weight of 5 oz.'s, and sharp. Has T/F markings. This knife only cost me $18. 2 yrs. ago, and has one of the smoothest openings of most of the A/O knives I own. A slight pull on the bolster hidden flipper and the blade flies open, locking-up solid. Another fun one to play with!
