They hung in there until the last out, it was a good game. Nice to see Tyler Clippard back on the team. The weather was perfect.

The last photo was the best shot I could get of the World Series pennant (on the left).

My son is up from TN. He and my ex-SIL filled up a UHaul trailer with stuff out of my garage to take home with him. It remains to be seen if I will miss all that accumulation. Time for ZZZZZzzz's. Good night.

I'm tuckered out. Been a long hot day. Bout time to turn in.

Busy today at work, the tourists wanted in the AC. Been a bum tonight, signing off with a Jack & Coke.

Cubs won in 10 innings and the White Sox won (not that I give a rip about them). It's bedtime for Bonzo. G'night all.

Quiet night in Southeast MO. Up looking at my favorite knife site. Listening to the air conditioning still humming. Sure has been a hot month. On vacation next week from work. More like a staycation. Going to do some work on the house and some yard work. Well, back to looking at some knives!! And then off to the rack.

Gonna be a good night for sleeping. Thermometer is already below 70º. Cubs won their 5th in a row tonight. (of course they're playing Philly )
