Today this pocket knife joined my "general" CAMILLUS pocket knife collection. It is a 1959....
Very nice find Skip. You know what they say......the years keep rolling along, and you've come up with some good ones!!

This morning I'm posting this latest addition to my CAMILLUS collection. It's a CAMILLUS "YELLO-JAKET", 3 blade, swelled center, 3 5/8" closed, "whittler" pocket knife. It is NOT stamped with a pattern #. Probably manufactured using spare parts towards the last days of the CAMILLUS Company's (U.S.A.) existence. It is in EXCELLENT condition and required no cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.
Captions, if any, are on the BOTTOM of the corresponding picture.

Skip, that’s a conversation piece for sure. Just left a post on the other thread about your knife here and a couple Jerry D posted . Very interesting and will have to keep an eye out for more of these end of the road odd ducks .
Thanks again for sharing

Here's one I haven't seen discussed here that much--the 75 Junior Cattle Knife. It only shows up in some mid-to-late '50s catalogs--I think it wasn't made more than 2-3 years. I bought it thinking it was a bigger knife than the 70, but at 3 3/8, it's considerably smaller.
What surprises me is that the non-Delrin "Bonestag" synthetic handle material hasn't shrunken much at all.

Cody,nice old Cam
That bonestag is not so prone to shrink as Delrin as you said. Have several Camillus with the Bonestag and no shrinking . It almost makes you think it’s bone.

Received this one yesterday. A Camillus Long Line Tang Stamp, Premium Junior Stockman, Brown Stagged Handles (as Camillus Listed them) Pattern 64. This one was in pretty good shape, and has great snap on all blades. Besides a rust spot on the punch, The only thing I found was that the Spey Blade seems to have been heated at one time. This is one of my favorite Camillus patterns after the 72, and 21/22 patterns.

Here is my 68 that I pulled out to get a little "pocket time" the other day. Strong snap, good walk 'n talk, after all these years, a true great quality American made knife

Nice Smitty . Those jr Stockmans are a nice size for carry. And the spiral punch is something that just tells you it’s not a newer piece, old school look I guess.
Have a great weekend down there my friend

That’s a dandy of a piece of Cutlery there Sir. And the Spiral punch, helps date it as was mentioning in previous post. Very nice short line 68.

Thanks JP. They are a nice size. This is actually my second 64. The other I've had for several years and I believe is from the early 70's. It has the tan with darker brown staged handles.

Very nice Short Line 68. It has the old style punch with the curved or concave backside. Not sure of the timeline but sometime right before 1960 they changed to the punch with the angled back. Again, very nice.

Thanks! I am always grateful for the other members' input, I am not very good at dating my knives, that gives me a better idea. It is a great pocket knife. I am happy with the age of this knife and the walk 'n talk still being good. Still a useful tool
