HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO EVERYONE HERE at AAPK!!!!
With this in mind, I thought it only fitting to shoot some STAG outdoors.

Enjoy, I not only wanted to pickup the great handle antlers but also capture the blade grinds on the polished versus the flat grinds of these blades.

Thanks. Part of me wonders if I should have wiped down the desk before I snapped the pic though.

LOL, at least there isn't any dust on the knife, that's all that matters.

Hey, I meant to ask ya, how's the action on this Schatt rebirth?

Walk and talk is good. Pull is a bit softer than I like, I'd say a 4-5. I prefer a stouter spring on my slipjoints, in the 6-7 range.

I have the series. The master blades on mine tend to be 6 or 7, but more variation in the secondary blades running from 4 to 6.

I know what you guys mean, I prefer a strong spring as well. That was my only reason for not pullin the trigger on one of these. I had heard in recent years that Queen had been droppin the ball on this very thing, from guys at shows mainly.

I know this pic ain't gonna win ANY awards, but I stuck this China Buck 382 in my shorts pocket when I got home
Notice how different the two blades look? The front one is more silver and the back one more gray.
The front one gets WICKED sharp, the back one not SO much.
