Monk - Is that Buster Brown stuck in Ninety Six or does it have travel potential?

Not as many as I used to. I sell so I can keep hunting. It's an addiction. I love the hunt. I'd have a lot more knives if I didn't buy lots of cool old tools too. I have an affinity for metal particularly iron.

Hey Monk, that's a cool EO! One just sold this last week on ebay for 68 bucks. Gives you an idea on the original bail.

Nice catch monk. I'll never forget that name on that knife, Buster Brown. When my brothers and I were young and did something wrong as all young kids do, our Dad would tell us he was going to give us a Buster Brown tune up. Believe it or not they worked very well for that purpose too.

Just got this four inch Delrin stock knife. It has seen very little use. Nice slim California clip blade and the sheepfoot and spey are unusually long. More detailed pictures in the Camillus subforum.

I didn't do well @ the fleamarkets for slipjoints today

BUT I came up with a couple of butcher-knives

I was rumageing thru a draw and I found a Casexx CA 200-8" so I ask the guy how much and he said three for a DOLLAR

SOOOO I grabed two more made in the USA and once I got home I researched a J.Russell&Co Green River Works Come to fine out it's an original made from 1833-1936 and this one dates 1860before the double diamond trademark

::ds::top is Case bottom is J.Russell
