Outlaw358...it looks like a stamp used from 1946-56....that’s for pocket knives..not for sure about fixed blades. ::shrug::
I remember having one as a kid that was brownish that blended into white. ::nod::

BTW...love that Puma & Case. ::tu::

It sucks that you didn't get one of those Case Peanuts.....but don't feel lonesome, cause neither did I. ::td:: ...they had 3 patterns with yellow scales on sale..I had planned on buying one of each. ::facepalm:: ..But I have been saving my $$ for a custom Bowie that a Friend of mine has...now it doesn't look like that’s gonna happen. ::teary_eyes::
He's coming over tomorrow...I'll know for sure then. ::pray::

Here's some I picked up. First is a Boker Germany 493 Barlow. No box, but it doesn't look like it's been used at all. I'm not sure when it was made or what the handles are. They almost look like red acrylic with black spot inclusions. I got this one for $12!

The others are a pair of Gits sliders. I have a particular fondness for these. The green one was the one my grandma kept in her sewing box, the blue and red ones, I picked up for $2 apiece, MIB! It may be wrong to say, but I actually like the way these operate better then the Christy sliders. I'm not sure how many different colors there are, but i'm on a mission to gather up as many as I can. They're kinda neat little knives. Pat'd May of 1933.

Another Pearson Norwich knife. The other one I had was an Ivory scaled Corn Knife which I have sold on. I think this one is much better. The main blade is down a bit and rubs the liner when closing but the other two blades are virtually new. The scales are pretty much perfect. Someone has polished it a little on the outside but it is in great shape. The springs on it are really thick. A number 8 on the nail breaker scale. The photos aren't very good since I had to cock the camera to avoid glare. First decent sun in three weeks.

The fellow I got it from said that he usually only sees Pearson Norwich on wood plane blades. Has any one else come across any Pearson pocket knives?

Drive down to Roanoke for the gun and knife shows. Should be some decent hunting there. I seem to remember the occasional backwoods antique shops in your area as well. ::hmm::
