I was with Camp Chevrolet for 10 years - Great company for many, many years, then people started getting old & retiring & the son's took over - when i went to work for Camp's the average salesman had been there for 18 years!~ un-heard of - in todays world an average car salesman last 18 days at a dealership - Things change - Time's change - the Prings who owned Appleway made me an offer I went with for a short time as a sales manager, I moved on to work with a consulting firm out of North Carolina in the construction world. Stayed with them for 15 years - great company- great owner but I was working all over the United States and finally got road burn - Wasn't burn'd out with the job, just the travel. I drove across the US 14 times in 15 years & a whole lot of places in-between - Nothing for a long hauler but was plenty for me. Tom

we had a home at Liberty Lake for 30 years, Raised our 2 oldest girls there - also had a cabin (Float House) on Lake Ponderay at south end at Hudson Bay - My folks had a large cattle ranch in Newport, WA - we miss the beauty at times but don't miss the winters. tom

heres one for the record.. i work the kitchen at my gun club, every once in a while i'll get club monogrammed clothes..well people always look at the tags, if they see anything that isnt usa, they wont buy it. the person i get the clothes from tells me i can get the usa tagged clothing for a bit more money, that means i will have to charge the customers more, but, he said that altho it might have a tag that reads usa.. it doesnt actually mean it was made in usa,, just that the tag was put on in the usa... hows that for pulling the wool over our eyes...heck my goldwing was completely made in the usa.... me,, i dont care, it is all political anyways, chet

what has been your experience with them - i carried one for a long time - no issues - came razor sharp & mine held an edge really well - have you had any issues?

tom,, i am sorry to say this,, but i have had no issues with them,,how can other companies compete.. no wonder why buck chooses china for making their so called continental series.....

I have one RR, one they call a "French Tickler" I think. Any way I only paid about $6 for the knife including shipping and I have to say it is a very nice knife save the China etch. It sharpens up well and holds an edge until you wear it off. The fit and finish are very good with nice jigged bone handles. I have older 64-69 Case knives that can be razor sharp when you put them in your pocket and really dull when you take them out, without any use. I also have a Boker AK-47, can't spell Kalishmakoff? Automatic that is a piece of crap.

I have customized factory knives for lots of years - one reason I started was that the factory scales in many cases were butt ugly! This company who makes RR & Marbles have some of the best scales I have ever seen on knives -They are beautiful - I would like to work the back springs but I’m not going to bust a knife apart & take a chance of breaking a beautiful set of scales - that would be just stupid - Look at that dem RR stone sunfish on my web site -WOW! Just look at what Crazy horse was retailing those knives for - Painted Pony - 3/ 4/ 5 hundred bucks - I have that small sunfished listed at 57 bucks engraved! Maybe that’s why I’m poor! Mother of Pearl Whittler engraved 52 bucks - Buck caught some slack for that move & they said that they were going to drop that line but I haven't seen that happen yet. I doubt that they will as long as their vendors stay on the up & up with them. Wasn't that many years ago when Damascus knives was the latest & greatest even though it had been around for a few hundred years - couple of companies flying the made in the USA were selling Damascus knives & Damascus blades from Pakistan - Yep - made in the USA alright - They could buy Damascus blades for 2 or 3 bucks - pay some poor starving knife maker 50 bucks to put a nice handle on it & sell it for 4 to 5 hundred bucks! I knew these venders personally - Biggest problem they had was they were dealing with Pakistan! Those folks have their own way of doing business. One of my friends would order Sambar Stag from India - hell regardless of what he ordered they would ship what they had on hand & he couldn't refuse it or they would cut him off! Just the way they did business - I should write a Kiss & tell book -

Ask GOD what he thinks of Chinese and Japanese people who are trying to survive as us Americans complain about a stupid knife.
Please think of others before yourself and respect others.
The United States is full of foreign people and products and always will, that's life, move on and choose which knives you want and leave the rest to the complainers!
