Oh now wishful, I had a good buddy who hailed from Mechanicsville, NY. Trust me, our lingo isn't all that far apart. If "yous" know what I mean. :wink:

I know when I'm out of my element. I bow to the experts. Please accept my apologies for my weak attempt at a linguistic lesson.

BUT

Either one of you would feel right at home in any conversation with the yellow clay dirt farmers where I came from. Y'all was not used in my neck of the woods and is affected in my speech because it feels comfortable and damn it, I like it. ::huff::
