Nice one Mike, I really like the match-strike nail pulls that CCC used.

Here's one I added to the collection a while back. The only waterfall Cripple Creek I have. Not sure if he made alot with waterfall handles.

Here's a few more that I was fortunate to find. The straight knife with Micarta handles is the first I've ever seen. I don't believe that the sheath is original to the knife. The pearl gunstock is a 1981 Cargill AECA knife. Great pearl, half stops, and solid knife all around. The copperhead is just a nice stag knife. I don't see a lot of cripple creek copperheads. Finally a nice strawberry bone banana trapper.

Has Cargill tooled on it. Why do you think it's not original to the knife? Educate me.

Just a guess on my part. I am not aware that any Cargill or Cripple Creek knives came with sheaths. There are folks that frequent AAPK that know more about Cargills than I do. Hope they will chime in. I hope I'm wrong and this is an original sheath.

I can't help answer your sheath questions, but I can comment about the knives. Those are awesome!!

Very nice. There was a set of 4 Wounded Knee Barlows, unfortunatley I do not have any of them. They came in a wooden wheel.

Here's a few that I recently picked up. The clasp knife has a blade etch that was not often used. The other three are handled in that same material that Kabar used for their bicentennial trapper. The butterbean and trapper are Tennessee Homecoming knives and the toothpick is a Chief Anderson.

Lots and lots and lots of Cargill / Cripple Creek knives in the latest issue of SMKW catalog. They are all very nice looking in mint condition, but all are out of my price range.

Haven't added anything to this thread lately so here are a few I've picked up. First is a big stag clasp knife with an Old Fort stamp. Second is a 1982 honey bone Buffalo Skinner. According to Levine only 5 of these were made in 1982. Third is a 10th Anniversary 5 blade pearl canoe with a Cripple Creek shield.

All these Cripple Creeks are wonderfull fella's
When I started collecting back in the 70's, there was not much cash
rasin 2 kids, I wish I would have gotten a few of Bob's knives back in the day.
kinda drifted in 10 different directions and skipped over this brand allured by all
the Case Stag of the 1960's thru early 80's and my love for Marble's products...

Does anyone know if they call Sodbuster pictured just that ???
I cannot make out the stamp and etch etc. on my screen
What years was it made and what are its marks so I can start a search
for that knife, it is a dandy !!! & I am hooked !!!

I am fairly certain that sodbuster is a one of one. I know that it was not one of Bob's standard production knives.

I picked these up a few months back. Bob Cargill makes some excellent knives.
