Very nice, very, very nice The top appears to be Adirondac Spurce or Red Spruce depending on where it came from. Dana Bourgoise builds some wonderful instruments.

Here is my mahogony guitar. A 2009 Martin D-18 75th Anniversary, built as they would have been built in 1934. Also has Adirondack Spruce top with open back Waverley tuners. This one is Number 13 of 119 built. The guitar is also the 175th Anniversary of the C.F. Martin Guitar Company.

I don't play it very much, the neck is a little uncomfortable for me being 1 3/4" at the nut. But it does have a great HUGE sound. My HD-28 that I play is 1 11/16", you wouldn't think that 1/16" would make a difference, but it does.

Glad to do it Blue, thought you might enjoy seein this one. I found this 1960s SHURE 55 SW microphone at an antique store a few weeks ago. Came with the stand and I stole it for around $125.00, BTW, it works great cuz I had a buddy of mine put a new cord on it and she plugs into my Crate amp. I can sound like Jimmi Hendrix, Elvis or Son House whenever I want to.

Just curious if any of you musicians have heard of Dave Nichols up here in northern NY. He does custom guitar work including exotic inlays. He has done work for many, many of the top recording stars.

I used one of those back in the 1980s when I was a local "rock and roll star" (wannabe).
I GAVE it away to one of my guitar students when I quit the business back in - let's see... - 1990!

My daughter and I have a lot of fun singing songs together. I just let her fully blow it out while I just smile and think one day, I won't be here anymore but she will always have this great memory.

well stupid me, today I got up early, in order to get to the bank, Post Office and do a session at 9am all before time to be at rehearsal by 10am. Problem was, I was so sleepy and out of my head that I forgot the dadgum camera. It will not be repeated tomorrow morning. I will get shots tomorrow and all will see my bosses. We're gonna shoot a video with Tim on the 27th too, so be on the lookout for it soon.
