Funny! I was using a calculator which gave the same answer to anything I put into it.

Thanks for putting that right.

The future cannot be predicted. Things happen that were not foreseen or predicted that have far reaching consequences. 911 is a recent example of this. Many aspects of our daily lives changed permanently on that day. So if something were to happen that somehow created an interest in old knives, there would be a sudden surge in number of collectors. And guys like us who happen to have many of the best knives would be sitting pretty.
I don't think this will happen, but it could.

Are you sure that you are not already 'sitting pretty' ? Paul, you have lots of fine knives but it's good to need more because prices now are relatively low so keep buying. The more you buy the prettier you will sit when the masses of new collectors come looking for 'the old ones'.

I think the market for Schrade knives has been cool and recently might be recovering. I recall Schrade prices being higher ~10 years ago and then declining somewhat since then. It is hard to be sure, but i think average selling prices now are still below those of 10 years ago.
It is possible that Schrade prices today will seem like a bargain 2 years from now.

I think that's a fair price for such a nice condition 2OT. Yeah, it's almost as much as a glock, but it looks better

I happen to know where that went, and it is in a good home. (Not mine).
One of these days maybe Eric will show us why he sold that one. I happen to know about that, also.

Very nice Bohrade. Seller suggests it may be "very weared." Understandably, since it was made in the 1920s, although none of my Bohrade Waldens were made until 1947 or later, it must be very rare indeed.

Well now is your chance to get what may be the only schrade walden made in the 1920's. Do not delay, lest somebody else spots the deal.
