So far, this is what Roger has told us:
1. Single steel bolster with steel liners.
2. Made like a Pre-WWI knife.
3. Two blades.
4. 3-1/2" long.
5.Available in Bone and Cocobolo.
6.Blade etched.
What type of Shield?

I've been look for a eskimo so you can sell him a iceberg or ice box.
As they say. Keep giving them a nibble and the next thing you got them hooked.
You are one good salesman.
I have been enjoying all the posts
Grant

Keith, your above pictured knife of Maher & Grosh is a #14 I believe? It also entered my mind.
But I now believe it will be a No. 2 B S

The below picture is from the 1900 Maher & Grosh Catalog.
I rest my Case... I mean: "I rest my Maher & Grosh."

When will these beauties be available? I will be out of the country for a spell and I sure don't want to miss out!
Roger,
I can certainly prepay for one of each and then you can ship when they roll off the line, please!

I have one of the pick bone boys and both of the Yankee Whittlers. What wonderful knives these are, and judging from some of the originals I’ve fondled, I would say they are every bit as great as their ancestors!!

Thank you Ken and Roger for bringing these beauties to us and showing the younger among us how knives were made over a hundred years ago!

This knife did not get its due when the 15s came out. Likely the best 15 from GEC. The quintessential shield, impeccably finished, all steel, cool etch. If this were to be carried, I would probably remove the bail and chain but it will only be admired. Anyway just wanted to express my admiration for this one.

Thanks,I'm bias, but I think they were the best 15 also.

Yep, without a doubt, some of GEC’s best work ever!!
I got both of them, the jig and the wood.
