His post was made today. I did not know the sale occurred 6 months ago.
My suggestion to 'dontyouknow' is when next looking at a vintage Case knife that you might buy, send a PM to one of the Case collectors here and ask if knife is real or faked. Most AAPK'ers are quite willing to help by sharing their knowledge.
Also the AAPK stores that are owned by active AAPK members are a safe place to buy authentic knives.
