Here are the two variations of the bulldog. Both had a blade etches but one had a tang stamp the other didn't.

Ditto with Jim. It might be added that the Bulldog knife with both etch and tang stamp is much more rare. One could only wonder if the order was filled out with tang stamped blades that would normally be used for the other knives that used that large master blade. John

Anyone seen one of these with the older Remington umc inside the circle tang stamp?

Jim, I was a believer that the htt knives were later (30's)
Knives till I got this knife. This bulldog has an early stamp.

Keith, I believe the HTT Bulldog was offered in either 1926 or 1936. I will look tonight. I have a reprint of the HTT magazine. John

John, the stamp on my knife is 1921-24 theoretically. So that would make me think they should have given them out a little earlier or the blade was left over parts.

I bought all 12 issues from 1929 htt magazine and this add was in there.

I'm finding out that there were quite a few knives that were offered besides the big bullet trapper, little trapper and the single blade bulldog. Very interesting to look threw these magazines. Great knife John
