I have wonderful news , I was spot on about GEC#23 Northfield brown jigged bone Trapper. The Northfield #23 will be Chocolate Almond Peach-seed bone. Bill Howard is Krazy when it comes to naming bone colors. This is my favorite brown jigged bone color and I know what it looks like before buffing. This is a new brown bone color from 2019. I have wrote many letters to Bill Howard about this bone color for the #23 run. When I read brown jigged bone for the Northfield #23 , I had faith that I was right. After buffing these #23 dark brown jigged scales , they become a whole new animal. The JSR Sports & More SFO had the same dark Chocolate color before buffing. Lord knows what Bill Howard will name this bone , but it end up Chocolate Almond bone color. This Northfield Trapper #23 is going to be a knockout.

I don't know about you but I think this is beautiful, glad I have one reserved.

Anyone familiar with the tube art?

Not me ! I don't like being teased and I don't like being lied to. We all had to wait an extra month plus for a brown jigged bone lie . When I saw those dark colored jigged scales on the production line , I just knew this was going to be a Northfield GEC#23 Chocolate Almond peach-seed jigged bone Pioneer Trapper knife. The best new brown color of 2019. Brass bolsters , brass bullet shield , and Chocolate Almond bone would of been a better seller. Red knives are slower sellers. I feel sorry for the dealers that really need sell knives out quickly. Our GEC dealers really took a bad hit this year , this knife will not help their situation.

Hard to tell for sure but it could be an old Remington poster.

Absolutely love it! Didn't notice the blade etch until now and that's the icing on the cake. Plus I got the button.

I bought the #23LL Beaver gnawed jigged cherry-wood and the #23LL Woodland Micarta from Franks Classic Knives. I should receive them tomorrow. Pictures of the Kifer SFO #23LL blue camel bone are on the GEC web-sight. I have already paid my invoice. The Kifer SFO #23LL knives should be released on 07/17/2020. The CKs SFO #23LL should be finished up soon also. No pictures on the #23LL mesquite wood knives yet.

I’m pretty sure besides being pinned, GEC uses some form of epoxy. Like secures and fills any small voids around the routed shield cavity.

The GEC#23LL Antique Autumn Natural bone single blade liner lock knives were released on 07/20/2020. These knives should be popping up this week. More beaver #23LL and Woodland micarta #23LL knives are still popping up.

Still waiting on the 23LL Brown jigged bone that I reserved from CK. Not sure I will get anymore, unless I can find a blue camel bone.

The GEC#23LL Brown jigged bone knives are on production hold , right now. They should be Northfield #23LL Redtail jigged bone "Bullet" shield knives. I hear GEC had to get some more Bovine Cattle bone. About three days ago ,Mike Latham's Ranch was hit by 102MPH winds for 15+ minutes. He is repairing and cleaning up his Ranch. He might be down a week or more before getting back to business.
