This is the one for 2020. Keep in mind that there no hard fast rules that pass from one POS roundtable to the next. There's just stuff that has worked in the past. Here's the link you requested: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=65269&p=785795&hilit=pos#p785795

Had to bow out last time (more like pass out from the fumes  ).

Definitely count me in this round, I got some dandies to pass on to the "lucky" end receiver ::sneaky:: .

Looking at my eBay account, there is more than one cheap lot I have bids on that are ending tommorrow with at least a half a dozen knives in each group that I may very well win; mostly for one or two knives that were halfway decent and/or unique; and the rest vary from good quality to POS. While some of those will go in my truck, toolboxes, used as loaners/beaters, etc. I'm left with more than a few leftover that will need new homes, as I don't actively collect/use them. And I have a couple "bought to get free shipping on something else that I actually needed to buy" that sucked, so they're definitely for this. So, guess I may be in.

We'll see tommorrow morning how it goes .

Just a suggestion-- maybe everyone who wants in could donate $5 or $10 to forward to Bryan to help support AAPK? ::shrug:: any thoughts on this Idea?

I have to go to Home Depot today (with mask; I respect the health of my fellows) and may stop in at Chinese store (Walmart) for sympathy card to go with my submission.

Ken--I don't know that's why I was asking for suggestions ::shrug:: ... But I think it would a be good idea if we can figure out a way to do it.. maybe whoever wants in could send five or ten dollars via PayPal to a trusted administrator then they could forward it to Bryan.. Just a suggestion, that's all ..we don't have to go this route... I just thought it would be a good idea to raise some money for AAPK..

I didn't think of that. I guess not everyone uses PayPal. I just recently started using it myself.... We'll just forget the donation part...I was just spit balling.. I'll let everyone know in the next week or so when I'll start taking names...🤝👍 Man do I have a pile of crap to send to somebody!! lol

I'm not saying a donation isn't a good idea. I don't mind giving some $$ in an effort to help Brian. I just think we should keep it separate from a POS exchange.
.
There might be some who want to play the game but not send in a donation.

I agree Mike, a lot of people or on a pretty tight budget these days. I imagine there's still a lot of folks that aren't back to work yet because of covid-19. This POS Exchange it's a good way for them to be able to get new ::uc:: or at least different knives without spending a lot of money.

That saying, "One man's trash is another man's treasure." is all too true. I've received knives in the POS Exchange that are still in my pile. On the other hand, I've always tried to send out at least one that I did not consider a POS. I guess you could call it gifting on the sly. ::shrug::

I've only participated in one POS exchange .

This last one.

I also sent along with the POS a nice little Cammilus to try to keep the stench down.

To my surprise when I opened my package of POS....There was a melon/sausage testor inside.

At first I thought that the sender knew that I have a sweet spot for them.

Anyways, it was a Kabar and I about fell off the chair when I saw it.

Made my day ::tu::

So I agree, that if you want, send a little something nice along with the POS.

Never know, might make somebody's day!

Yes, I like to leave a little lagniappe. Meanwhile, I don't know where you are at with Hunter Thompson, but he was one of the most disgusting characters I can think of that era, not including the ones we are enduring now.
