I have never used Western Union and I think the only time I've used a Money Order was to pay something to the Federal government. I think it was my Passport fee or for some other documents.

With the exception of groceries I think I do about 60% or more of my shopping online now days. I use PayPal every week with an AAPK member store, SMKW, Shepherd Hills and several more and there has never been an issue, technical or otherwise.

My monthly tithe to my church is a check, but not directly from me, it comes automatically each month from the bank as a bank check to the church P.O. Box. Every one of my bills is set up to be automatically paid from the bank. If I need to make a one time payment I log onto my bank account, put in your name and address, the amount of payment and hit send. You will get a bank check in the mail in about 3 to 5 business days instead of one of my hand written checks. If anything goes wrong it's on the bank and not me, and that has only happened once that I recall.

There are other options such as Zelle, Venmo, WorldRemit for international transfers, or Google Pay, just to name a few. The options are out there you just have to find the ones that work for you and set them up for your use and of course the seller has to accept them.

I think my time is up.

I find that so many sellers allow only money orders or Pay Pal purchases. I personally do not trust the idea of mailing a money order to someone, with hundreds of Dollars on it and no way to know who is actually receiving it. ::uc:: As far as Pay Pal, I have used them in the past and have been cheated by them twice. I lost a lot of money and their bizarre rules make it nearly impossible to get your money back, when their system glitches and they keep money that was supposed to go to you. Please consider allowing Money gram, Western Union and debit purchases. they are all a lot more secure. I have a lot of $$ burning a hole in my pocket, but I need more purchasing options! :D
In my LDF Knives store, I can accept Credit cards, just let me know when you contact me then I can put you through, I will never see your account #'s :D This was my option other than pay pal ::tu::

While we are discussing AAPK stores and to keep from beginning a new thread about a very small detail, I have one suggestion. I am an occasional store purchaser and would love to see each knife have an OAL listed. With knives I am very familiar with (most Case and Buck) it is no issue, but some brands lack a detailed database on-line and are no longer in business. Most AAPK dealers do a terrific job on all the details, but to me length is an important detail for a buying decision on a knife. OH
