I believe that I saw a set of blade blanks on Ebay, maybe 20 blades for $20? I think it is still up.

Yep, that guy lists those from time to time.
I need to get me some more. I got one set of 20 already.
(I have plans to do some with stag and bone handles)

I have had several 123's over the years. The very first one I wore out, it was constantly on my hip over several years travelling all over Australia. This is my current user around the farm easy to find it I put it down somewhere. Left hand carry, horizontal so it is out of the way when I am in and out of the truck.

I made this one many years ago.
The stag was some from the Henckels factory.
Wish I could get about 50 lbs of that sort of old stag!
