If anyone is interested, I just got an email stating that the next pattern, the Laid Back Jack, will be released May 13th at 2:00pm EST.
This drop will be interesting. The first release sold out very quickly, i suspect these may be the same. Any thoughts ??? Have a good weekend.

I’m inclined to agree. The Laid Back Jack is a Swayback pattern with a Wharncliffe blade. I expect it to be at least as popular as the first pattern if not more.
Grant, they were $295US, and not hard to get if you really wanted one.
cudgee it would cost well over $500 Australian to purchase with shipping and GST.Long gone is the days when it was $4.50 shipping to Australia and no GST
I've stopped buy knives for awhile as it cost as much to ship a knife as to purchase one.

I get you. I have stopped purchasing also, but i have more knives than i need. But there is a still a seller in Sheffield England that i purchased from in January, $22 postage for 3 knives, which i thought was reasonable in this day and age, and slipped through without GST. But you cannot get anything from the US postal service at the moment anyway. But i would not pay $450US for a knife i could have got for $295US if i wanted one.
I'm not trying to disparage anyone when I trot out the old saying, "there's an @## for every seat." That's how those knives sold for $300.
Would I park my backside on that seat? No. Leaving aside banter about price and country of origin, it strikes me as a blend of tradition and modernity that doesn't work.

Very fair assessment Dan , it's all in the eye of the beholder.

That's a very handsome knife in the link John! I scrolled down just a bit and on the right there was their One Hand knife which also was very good looking. As far as the prices...?
The latest drop of these sold out very quickly on one site, a few remaining on another. What i want to know has anyone here purchased one? Just like to hear their comments, a knife person who has one is the best review.
Has it been mentioned anywhere how many of each variant were made? Knowing the quantity made would clarify if these were massive sellouts or just a few knives that sold quickly.

Good post, Cudgee.

I don't know mate, but i do know a few retail sellers had drops. But no i don't know how many there are in each drop. But there a a few styles being made all the time, i saw a sight showing all the future releases and there were a few shown. The carbon covers appear to sell out in minutes.

It certainly is puzzling that nobody has posted pics or comments about their new Sharp Shooter Jack from the first drop.
I haven’t noticed any comments from owners on any of the knife forums. Maybe it’s all over Facebook but I wouldn’t know it if it was.
Me neither, i don't do social media or facebook, but what you say is correct. Strange that there has not been any posts here or the other one. I know i'm in the minority but i like the look of them, and i'm a traditional stalwart. Have a good weekend my friend.
