Thanks for all the positive comments guys, it was a fun little project to make. It’s crazy that people all over the country play and these knives are going to travel a whopping 38 miles from me to him

We might as well meet somewhere for coffee and save you the postage. Besides the USPS might send them by way of Chicago, that has happened to me before. Thank you sir for such a great donation, they will be a beautiful addition to my collection...

If you were up for a trip to Whitesboro we could meet at the wife’s restaurant and you can see some of that carvings I’ve posted in person. PM me if you would like to meet or I can mail it if you prefer.

Here they are now in Ponder, TX. Met with Coley today and we had such a great time talking knives, wood carving and wood burning art. Had a great time and plan on going back to his neck of the woods again soon. And yes the customized Opinel knives are great!

Glad they made it back safe! It was great to meet up and chat, and thank you again for the wonderful (Bomb) gift, I have it guns at the Deli already. We may have to get a North Texas AAPK get together some day, like we discussed, there are 4 of us within 60 miles or so from each other, maybe more.
