A display of knives from south of the border.
Kindjals of the Caucasas. This display belongs to Dale Larson, prominent bowie collector and owner of the Edwin Forrest bowie. I really nice gentleman to talk to.

The knives I picked up at OKCA. A couple in pretty good condition and a couple of not so good. However, all patterns I did not yet have in my collection. The quill knife was a gift from knowtracks.
Charlie C. found a couple of print blocks and gifted them to me. They were probably used to print the headers on catalog pages.

This was not along the display walls, but, is the personal collection of a dealer who is always there. It is part of his collection of Finnish, Norwegian and Swedish knives. The pictures do not do it justice, there are some beautifully carved handles and sheaths.

Ivoryman posted a few pics of this display. I am posting to give some background to the collection and post a few more pictures.
Dave (knowtracks) started collecting Charlie C.'s SFOs back in 2005 when Charlie started putting them out. Dave has 208 of Charlie's SFOs, which I believe is a full collection. As a tribute to Charlie, Dave built enough display cases to house them all and set them up at this year's OKCA show. Charlie was quite moved by it all.
