I have one very similar to yours. American Eagle Series Craftsman,
from 1972. Beautiful knife!

Found mine in a box of junk knives at a gun show. Got it pretty cheap. Seems very well made!

It is not Thursday, but it is so beautiful outside I had to take
a picture of this Old Crafty and show you guys.

Made by Schrade in 1973 I think.

Loving these old Craftsman knives. My contribution is an old bone handle carpenters whittler ie 72 copy.

You got to include a barkow when you talk Craftsman

I have not seen a fixed blade Craftsman here yet. Here is mine, I got it without a sheath but was able to find a black nylon one at the military store locally. Probably Schrade made, the blade is 7 inches.

Definitely possible. Supposedly this logo was used in the 1960s and 1970s, but Sears did begin using another logo for most of the 1970s. However, I looked at an old Sears catalog from 1973, and this logo was still in use.

Here’s an Ulster multi tool that’s similar to the Ulster 10 th mountain division knife .
Also a High Carbon Trapper that gets some pocket time.
And a few pics from the 1902 edition of Sears and Roebuck catalog. It’s an interesting read going thru the old catalogs .
What was the first year that Craftsman was used by Sears ? Just curious.

It was 1927. This knife celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Craftsman isn’t too hard to find.
