This knife came today,
it is used and rusty. but that's no problem, with a little love and care she'll be like new in no time. it is the person who gave me this that really a bit of surprise for me...
it's from my sister.
she live in Holland, and she never understand WHY i like "those folding knives with no lock, so it's Not A Safe Knife".
but, when she saw this in a garage sale, she just bought it and send it to me

with a note, " It is a folding knife, but it has a lock, so it will be safe for you to carry and use everyday, Merry Christmas"
anyway, it's a Herbertz, I'm not familiar with this brand, but it's a fine knife, still got that factory edge, no gap, and the lock is strong.
now, I couldn't tell her that I only collect Slip-joint knives, so I'm just gonna clean and touch it up a bit, take a pic of it in my pocket, and send the pic to my sis with a note "it is a safe knife, and now it's in my pocket ( it is when I took the pic

), thank you and Merry Christmas to you too"
love you sis.

hey y'all just got back from the flea market, found a real nice 1972 6214 jack with delrin scales and un sharpened condition, it has 2 slight cracks at the lower middle rivets holding the scales on, it appears to be a factory error. the cracks are so slight that the camera wouldnt even pick them up.here are a few pics.

Here's my finds today.
#1 - Western stamped 66 ( don't know the value, but it looks like a deer skinnin' machine )
#2 - Edge Mark stamped 457 ( Never heard of it, but it appears to be real stag and good steel, but the rust mites got it )
#3 - Case Mako stamped 58L SS w/ 5 dots ( Any idea of it's age?? broken tip, but can be salvaged )

Cool finds GA1dad!

Hey peshikthe, that's even better, probably an even harder knife to find these days.

I like your flea better than mine.

Here's the only one I found today, after BIGHEAD and I met, I went back to the Gun and Knife show and decided to buy this one. Didn't give much for it but cleaned up nicely.
Imperial Celluloid Jack 3 3/4 in length. It was already in really nice condition. Few pits but nothin major.
