My latest Benchmade, a Proper sheepfoot. I bought it at the factory store in Oregon City the Saturday before Christmas. My wife handed me her card and said, "Go get your Christmas present."
I have an AWESOME wife!!
The factory store is quite a place. It suprised me that most of the people shopping in the factory store were much younger than the crowd at the average knife show. I would estimate that half the customers in their 30s or younger. Benchmade seems to have captured the imagination of the younger folks! I think that is a good thing!

Though I really focus on old knives my brother sent me this Benchmade Osborne a few years ago - I really find it to be a great EDC when a big knife is needed and I can't get enough of flicking the blade open

... Seriously the blade fires out of the hole and locks up solid each time

Does anyone happen to have one of these 535-1901s? I just found one, it hasn't been delivered yet. Thanks for your thoughts!

Had to do a day trip to Cumberland on Saturday and decided to carry this knife. I'll tell you this is the sharpest factory edge I have in my collection. This knife would slice unpeeled mandarins paper thin.
I assume this is crucible steel and it is amazing. The weight of this knife makes one forget he/she's carrying a knife. I'm sure the standard versions are the same except in looks. The Jade G10 scales have gotten a grip on me, seeking out other knives with them.
