62109X is a mini-copperhead with a standard clip master blade. 62109W is the same knife with a Wharncliffe master blade. I do not think that designation changes based on grind.

Nice, I prefer silver liners over brass. Steel/silver pins too for that matter just for the way it looks. Your post never disappoint me Joe, you have an outstanding collection from what I've seen since joining up here. Thanks for sharing.

Today I dug out this Russell saw cut bone handled Barlow that I haven't carried in awhile, a nice gift I received from one of the son-in-laws. Threw in the osage handled moose for the back pocket.

Threw this one in my pocket this morning. Headed in to pick up a 1930 Mercury. Built a flathead for it a few years ago, now it is time for a better transmission, this one out of a 1932.

Sure fellas, just got home with it on my rollback. This is actually a 1930 Ford, which I am replacing the old torque tube trans and putting in a 1932 Mercury trans with custom driveshaft and trans mount. The flathead I built years ago, fired right up with no smoke.

Thanks MM, wow what a classic old car. Fancy flat head motor!!! With all the new parts on that engine you probably don't need a clothes pen on the fuel line. Thank you for sharing. Love it.

NICE.. Glad ya cleared up the make as Mercury did not come into making cars until 1939.. At least here in the USA anyway.. KOOL Hot Rod!!!

Yes, Mercury did not start until 39, just going by what the customer told me. I am a Master technician not a car historian.

Your knife is what got me to looking for one. Saw it over in the Buck forum. I was buying a new mess kit from Cabelas to take to Colorado on vacation next month and the 310 got into my cart some how. I agree it is a knice little knife. Kind of like the three spring build also.

Colorado on vacation, now you have me jealous. We really enjoy Grand Teton NP over in Wyoming. I am happy for you. And glad you got the 310 as well.
