That’s a nice knife . Never seen a #908, is it on the same frame as the 903. Really nice blade on that #908 .
Thanks for posting the info and pics . ::tu::

No, is it on the same frame as the 904 (closed 5”).

Still pretty cool. I just sold one of those, but will be keeping the one I didn't carry.

The latest Camillus model 20 in my collection. It looks a little rough, but has nice tight blades and I am going to soak it in a solution to remove the rust. Then dunk it it in a "Smitty-style" warm mineral oil bath. Then have my buddy MTC, A.K.A. "Montana Tim" sharpen the blades. It should look pretty good after clean up. ::hmm::

Received these two in the mail yesterday. Picked them off the bay
First a Camillus 165 stainless medium stockman at 3-3/8" closed. It has the long line Italic or slanted Camillus tang stamp on the mark side of the master clip blade, and 165 Stainless on the pile side. It has Cabone handles with the Crossed Swords shield, and Razor Edged Stainless etch on the clip blade. All blades are full with some minor scratches, are tight, no wobble and have great snap. All I had to do on this one was wipe it down and oil the joints.

Next is a POWR-KRAFT 3-7/8" Premium Stockman. It was made by Camillus for Montgomery Ward and is the same pattern as the Camillus 179 Stockman. It has the same shield and blade etch as the Camillus 165 above. It comes with a Clip, Spey & Sheepfoot blade. All blades are tight, smooth, full and show little wear. The Cabone handles have more of a brown mix than the Camillus. It has a "POWR-KRAFT USA" tang stamp on the mark side of the clip blade, with "84-19 STAINLESS" on the pile side. Looking through some older Montgomery Ward Catalogs, The POWER-KRAFT 84-19 was first shown in the 1969 Montgomery Ward Christmas Catalog. By the 1977 Catalogs it wasn't listed. In 1977 and after, no POWER-KRAFT knives were listed in Montgomery Ward. They were replaced by a Technicraft line in Fixed Blades and all folding knives were Name Brand Knives such as Buck, Old Cutler by Colonial, Case, Victorinox, and Schrade. I could not find a 1968 Montgomery Ward Catalog so it is possible the 84-19 could have been in it also. In 1967 the Premium POWR_KRAFT Stockman was a pattern number 84-65. So the POWR-KRAFT 84-19 tang stamp was only produced from 1968 or 69 to 1976 going by the catalogs. Of course I am sure what was in inventory could have been in the stores a little longer.

Dog and Smitty, y’all sure are showing some nice ones.

Dog, those off brand knives (as in brands you don’t actively go after) will pile up on ya without you even realizing it! Looks like you’re well on your way to being a Camillus collector!
