Dave, as you can probly tell already I do prefer a lil
zig zag zoom in the grainworks whenever possible.
Here's another sample on a BRK&T Escort boot
kanife you might enjoy.

Monk -- Excellent post, showcasing a couple of excellent knives.
Be it known that the current Marine Corps mascot, Sgt. Chesty XIII will soon be retiring and replaced by Chesty XIV as soon as he completes obedience and recruit training. Pvt. Chesty XIV will be promoted to PFC at the successful completion of training.

Great pics and greater knives here!
Pic of my current (second knife ever) project: The
BatWasp. It's an Italian Milano cheapie (rosewood scale model) that I made super-thick, .090" brass liners and hand-hammered bolsters for. Body is a bat-winged, half-wasp layout I dreamed up, no safety. Handle scales are stabilized Fig. It may be finished one day.
And a shot of a few colorful imports.

Wosey, you DO know how to put a picture together! The reflections are an extension of the knives in both pics, but the 2nd one looks like shiny stag bolsters. Wow!
