Okay, now I'm hungry!

For some strange reason that I can't explain, I really like that second photo.

I think I see a few pepper spots on the blades, Scott (and on the shield.....and also the bolster)

Be careful taunting the Squach, he might think you're giving it to him but he's already had his turn with Amber ::poke::

Not at all. (I was joking about the seasoning on your eggs....and how it looks like some pepper also got on the knife). Well-seasoned is always good ::tu::

Very nice photo, Scott ::tu:: Each one of those Ivoryman relics represents time and effort spent in Brian's shop carefully crafting them and now they are a lasting physical memento of your connection to him. I know Brian would be very pleased with the different ways you have put Amber to work because it's exactly what he would've done as well. ::nod:: :D

Goodness. Amber made a very speedy trip from Florida to Illinois. The better half brought in the mail a bit ago and lo and behold, there she was and here she is (safe and sound) ::tu::

IL is under an extreme heat warning at the moment, so we might be doing boring indoor things for a couple days. ::mdm:: Maybe she can help on an AAPK related project. Will likely try to get out on the 4th for a tour of Effingham 8)

I’m smiling ear-to-ear for all the right reasons, as they say in the Illinois tourism guide, Amber is in the middle of everything now!

Hope everyone had a happy Independence Day. Amber spent the 4th lounging on a friend's dock on Lake Sara. It's an 800 acre reservoir just on the outskirts of Effingham. Pretty good Large-mouth Bass & Crappie destination. I used to fish there a lot, but today we just reminisced with friends and enjoyed the view. They have a firework display on the lake on the 3rd, but we missed it by a day. Amber did not get to see fireworks this year. That's on me ::disgust::
