Holey mackarelfish Rick!
If you'd gotten any closer to that kanife
your name would be Uncle Henry.
My Koduck digimatic won't do closeups any
more since it's factory installed smoke leaked
out.

It's a good thing you've still got that Kodak CX7430 then, cause it does a great job.woseyjales wrote:My Koduck digimatic won't do closeups any

Re: Knife Photography
Tanx Jerry, the previous closeups were done w/the Koduck before
the factory smoke escaped. If I try closeups now they're out of focus.
As you mention, that loss hasn't motivated me to replace it yet. Probably
just unwilling to flip thru another owner's manual until it conks out or
the clicker button goes ka-sproing! (knock on haid)
Figured bad sign when batteries too hot to grab, had to just dump
them on the ground. Let camera cool overnight, then fresh batteries,
and it came back on. That was about 2 yrs ago maybe?

Re: Knife Photography
A simple solution? What's that?
Apparently you are unaware of our family's jInX.
Seemed like a normal shoot til camera made high pitched
whine, began to get warm. Got it off tripod, unscrewed
base and poured the batteries out. Guess I'm lucky they
didn't start a grass fire. Oh well, old history.
Least no kanifes were damaged or lost in the melee.
Here's a reshoot from this mornin' that was long overdue.
No overcast but 7:30 light b4 sun topped the trees did okay.
I've seen some 152OT orange before but not with a tu-tone
deer headed sheath. Box has 2 barcode labels-one over box's
has 'Schrade Orange' over 'SC152OH' over barcode 44356-10140.
Opposite side has label 'Schrade Father/' over 'SC15Set' over
barcode 10336-92012.

Very nice photos Earl, the light hits the blade at the perfect angle to make it the focus of the entire picture. Well done.
