Re: Knife Photography
...don't just like the Knockout....straight up LOVE the Knockout! Flipper activated speedsafe gets that big ol' blade out quickly, blade is large and useful with a deep belly and lots of cutting area, with a strong and useful tip, it is super lightweight and slim with a deep carry pocket clip, can barely tell it's there when in the pocket. Gives you the ability to carry a bigger knife without the bulk, but it is by no means a light duty knife, it can stand up to some hard use....The machined aluminum handles make it slide in and out of the pocket very easily, in fact I did have to add a small piece of skateboard tape to the handle just to improve the grip for removal from the pocket, but since I did that she is damn near perfect for my purposes. USA made too. This knife has become my favorite Kershaw by a good margin.junebug wrote:
how ya like the KNOCKOUT??? likes ???? dislikes????
wanna purchase one soon
If there is any downside to this knife, it may be a bit "scary looking" to whip out in the general population, say riding a bus or sitting in a waiting room...but then again I always carry a smaller secondary "traditional" pocketknife with me for smaller tasks like pencil sharpening, tag clipping, nail cleaning, and "general fidgeting and fondling"...but when it's time for some serious cutting, out comes the Knockout.
I'm tellin' ya Junie, you need to get your hands on one of these, you'll dig it for sure.

Yeah, Tim. Did ya go crazy with the heat? Great picture and I really like that Platts whittler. The colors in that rock really set off those pearl handles. Did you plan it that way or did ya just get lucky?
